The Thomson Dream is the newest and biggest ship in the Thomson fleet. She was built in 1986 at the Meyer-Werft yard in Papenburg, Germany for the Italian company Home line. The ship was designed for the New York to Bermuda route and still has a old fashioned traditional liner feel to her, she is curved and has large areas of solid teak on the promenade deck, lots of space to get your sunbeds and take in all the fantastic scenery. In 1990 she returned to the ship yard and had a 36.9 meter mid section inserted to stretch her. Before being renamed the Thomson Dream in 2010 she also saw service as the Westerdam and Costa Europa.
